Can you briefly introduce yourself (background, past and current positions)?
I’m originally from Luxembourg and moved to Amsterdam in 2018 to pursue my studies. In 2021 I graduated from Amsterdam School of International Business and shortly after I began working as Business Development Representation for the DACH market at Dealsuite.com. Since April this year, I took over the position of Team Lead focussing on growing our presence in the DACH region.
What is your company’s activity, and what is its competitive edge?
Dealsuite is an international deal origination platform and network for M&A professionals with the goal to make sourcing of buyers and sellers more efficient and effective. We provide value to buyers by offering an international dealflow channel which notifies users about new opportunities on a daily basis. Furthermore, we are not in conflict with our members since we do not charge a success fee for completed transactions.
What are your main projects/targets for 2023?
One project that we are focussing on in 2023 is the growth of our Austrian network of M&A professionals which will ultimately result in more dealflow from the region. Secondly, we want to strengthen the relationship between Austrian and CEE M&A professionals by increasing our presence in CEE. Lastly, we want to further facilitate cross-border deal sourcing by growing existing markets.
In an ideal situation, what would you change or improve in the current VC/PE market?
At Dealsuite we create transparency in the fragmented M&A market by providing research and directly connecting M&A professionals with each other. Moreover, we facilitate access to targets for interested buyers.
